have you ever gone to those department stores during the great singapore sales
where they held sales hourly or something like that
and the sales people used those loudspeakers

then the crowd walked towards the source of noise
fifty percent sale.. buy one get one free.. three for ten dollars
they were elated.
and grabbed all the goods on offer

it didnt occur to them
that there were actually cheaper better things somewhere else

nonono..
they were too clouded by the attention grabbing salesperson
to see and hear beyond the loudspeakers
that were too loud.

loudspeakers...
oh lovely loudspeakers that bring honeyed words to please
at the end of the day.
